Stylish hotel rooms at Bryggen in Bergen – in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage.
A stay at Det Hanseatiske Hotell is a different kind of experience. The hotel is decorated in the style of the traditional Hanseatic trading houses at Bryggen and is built in the original buildings from 1702. The hotel is centrally located in the middle of Bryggen, and offers 37 rooms and suites spread over 6 floors.
All rooms are different with a charm and distinctiveness that makes each stay unique. Walk up narrow stairs, squeeze through low doors and experience the fantastic interior in these unique historic surroundings.

Petite twin standard room
Single bed x 2 2 adults 15–18 m²Charming room with sloped ceiling. Our only room that cannot be converted to a double bed. The room has a small desk, flat-screen TV and carpet flooring. The bathroom has a shower.

Double bed x 1 2 adults 15–18 m²Small but charming room with sloped ceiling, 15–18 m². Otherwise the same standard as our standard rooms. The hotel has an elevator, but in some rooms you must take the elevator to the 3rd floor and walk up the stairs to the 4th floor. Carpet flooring.

Double bed x 1 2 adults 16–20 m²7 intimate rooms of varying sizes, approximately 16–20 m². The rooms have a desk, minibar and flat-screen TV. Inviting bathrooms where two of the rooms have both shower and bathtub, the rest have shower. Two of the rooms have charming sloped ceilings. Parquet or carpet flooring.

Double bed x 1 3 adults 22–25 m²Deluxe room with sloped ceiling, 22–25 m². The rooms have beautiful bathrooms, some with claw-foot bathtubs in addition to a separate shower. Some rooms have both a seating area and desk. The hotel has an elevator, but in some rooms you must take the elevator to the 3rd floor and walk up the stairs to the 4th floor. Carpet flooring.

Double bed x 2 4 adults 30–39 m²Our 6 junior suites are approximately 30 m² to 39 m², with a large desk and seating area with sofa, table and chairs. Comfortable bathrooms with bathtub and separate shower. Two of our junior suites have charming sloped ceilings. Parquet or carpet flooring.

All suites have a 46-inch flat-screen TV, large comfortable bathrooms with both shower and bathtub, large desk and coffee table with chairs and sofa. Only one of the suites has the charming sloped ceiling. Parquet or carpet flooring.
